   As a UK CAA Authorised UAS Pilot, you will be at the forefront of operating Anduril UK's advanced fleet of Uncrewed Air Systems (UAS).   Plan, prepare, and execute UAS missions, including those within challenging VLOS and BVLOS scenarios, ensuring full compliance with mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
  Act as Safety Pilot, conducting manual flight operations with fixed wing and FW VTOL UAS in challenging and complex multi-UAS operations.
  Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks and diagnostics on UAS platforms and associated ground control systems.
  Operate and troubleshoot various UAS systems, demonstrating advanced proficiency with Pixhawk and Cube Orange Flight Controllers, including configuration, firmware and parameter management, and mission planning using relevant ground control station software.
  Develop and implement mission-specific risk assessments, meticulously applying Specific Operations Risk Assessment (SORA) principles to ensure the safe and compliant execution of operations within the UK CAA Specific Category.
  Maintain accurate and comprehensive flight logs, technical records, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
  Collaborate closely with engineering, flight test, and project teams to provide feedback on UAS performance, identify areas for improvement, and integrate new technologies and operational procedures.
  Ensure strict adherence to all UK CAA regulations for UAS operations, particularly within the Specific Category framework, including managing operational authorisations and permits.
  Provide technical support and potentially undertake basic field maintenance or fault rectification on UAS platforms, ensuring operational readiness.
  Actively contribute to the development of safe systems of work for UAS operations, promoting a robust safety culture and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  Mentor and potentially train less experienced operators, fostering a high standard of operational excellence and safety awareness.
 
 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  Hold a valid UK CAA General Visual Line of Sight Certificate (GVC).
  Significant experience of manual UAS or RC aircraft operations on FW and FW VTOL airframes.
  Demonstrable and significant experience in planning and executing UAS operations within the UK CAA Specific Category.
  Proven practical experience in BVLOS operations, including relevant approvals or experience within an organisation holding BVLOS permissions.
  Thorough understanding and practical application of UK CAA Specific Category operations, including the development of Operational Safety Cases and the process for obtaining operational authorisations.
  Expert-level technical proficiency with Pixhawk and Cube Orange Flight Controllers, including hands-on experience in their integration, setup, configuration, advanced troubleshooting, and operation.
  An understanding of aviation paperwork and a meticulous approach to documentation and record-keeping.
  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and travel extensively to support field operations (potentially 25-50% of the time).
  Valid driver's license.
  Ability to obtain a UK Security Check (SC) clearance or higher.
 
 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  Understanding and practical experience of UK MAA UAS operations including S1 or S2 category. Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in applying MAA Risk Assessment principles to define and mitigate risks for complex UAS missions.
  UK MAA Evaluator Aircrew or other trials qualification. Thorough understanding of military test processes and authorisations.
  Experience with Fixed Wing VTOL UAS Operations and with multiple-air vehicle operations.
  5 years' experience as Manual Safety Pilot for FW/MR UAS.
  Strong understanding of rotary and fixed wing UAS aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and system architectures.
  Experience with other UAS flight controllers, ground control stations, or payloads (e.g., LiDAR, advanced EO/IR sensors).
  Background in aviation maintenance, electronics, or robotics.
  Experience operating UAS in challenging environments (e.g., maritime, mountainous, urban).
  Technical qualification (e.g., HNC/HND, apprenticeship) in electronics, avionics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

  SUMMARY:
 The RPAS Accountable Manager (AM) is the CDUK single point of accountability to the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for all Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) operations conducted under the Specific Category, including PDRA01 and BVLOS activities.
 The post holder receives objective-based assignments aligned to business and regulatory outcomes and determines the resources, structures, and operational processes required to meet agreed schedules, safety targets, and commercial goals.
 The AM holds overall responsibility for ensuring that RPAS operations are safe, compliant, adequately resourced, and conducted in accordance with the approved Operations Manual, Safety Management System (SMS), and applicable CAA permissions. In addition, the role provides operational leadership for commercial RPAS delivery and training activities across CDUK programmes.
 The role provides operational leadership across commercial RPAS delivery and training activities and translates regulatory and programme objectives into executable operational processes. The role has two main aspects:
 
  Office-based for planning, governance, and assurance.
  Field Based Delivery and Operational Oversight. This requires: 
   
    UK and overseas travel
    Irregular hours in support of live operations
   
 
  ROLE SCOPE AND MANAGEMENT LEVEL
 
  Receives objective-based regulatory and commercial assignments.
  Determines resource allocation to meet schedules and safety objectives.
  Establishes and refines procedures affecting multiple operational sections.
  Executes financial planning, business priorities, and workforce planning for the RPAS function.
  Manages activities across pilots, support staff, and specialist contractors.
  Influences operational methods and techniques across programmes.
 
 Decisions directly impact regulatory compliance posture, operational safety, cost performance, and delivery timelines.
  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  Accountable to the CDUK Management Team for compliance with UK ANO 2016 (as amended), UK Regulation (EU) 2019/947 (retained), PDRA01/OSC operational requirements.
  Ensure the organisation has sufficient personnel, equipment, funding, and systems to conduct RPAS operations safely.
  Approve and maintain the Operations Manual for PDRA01 and Operational Safety Case for BVLOS.
  Establish, maintain, and continuously improve an effective Safety Management System (SMS) proportionate to PDRA01 / BVLOS risk.
  Ensure hazards are identified, risks are assessed and mitigated, and safety occurrences are reported and investigated.
  Act as the primary interface with the CAA for all RPAS regulatory matters, audits, and oversight activities.
  Provide operational oversight of all commercial RPAS activities.
  Ensure all operations conducted under PDRA01/OSC remain within defined operational limitations.
  Liaison with Training Area Air Operations in order to understand requirements, restrictions and book airspace.
  Liaison with Authority (Military Customer) to understand current military capabilities and doctrine. Understand delivery requirements of planned supported activity, giving advice on CDUK capabilities where needed.
  Lead and manage RPAS delivery teams, including pilots, support staff, and specialist contractors including competency, currency, training and authorisation.
  Coordinate UK and overseas deployments, ensuring compliance with host-nation UAS regulations and equipment movement requirements.
  Oversee RPAS platform selection, maintenance oversight, and lifecycle management.
  Advise senior management and programme teams on RPAS regulatory compliance, Safe system of work for drone operations and integration of RPAS into wider land, training, Joint Fires, and ISTAR activities
 
  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 
  Demonstrable experience as a senior RPAS operational lead or Accountable Manager.
  Proven delivery under CAA Specific Category (PDRA01 and/or BVLOS desirable).
  Strong working knowledge of UK RPAS regulatory framework and SMS principles.
  GVC Certified RPAS pilot (essential).
  Experience managing multi-disciplinary operational teams.
  Experience with operational budgeting and governance frameworks.
  Military aviation or Defence Collective Training background advantageous.
 
  RECOMMENDED BACKGROUND &#38; EXPERIENCE
 Typically 8+ years relevant operational experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Desirable).
 Demonstrated leadership across multiple operational sections or disciplines.
 Experience translating regulatory objectives into operational processes.

   As a Senior UAS Flight Test Engineer you will plan, execute and report on developmental and operational flight Test &#38; Evaluation (T&#38;E) activities. You will work alongside a team of engineers and test specialists assisting in the wider management and coordination of test and evaluation within the UK, US and Europe under both civil and military approval schemes.WHAT YOU'LL DO
 
  As a Senior Flight Test Engineer you will determine and develop various approaches to achieve T&#38;E goals and lead the completion of test activities.
  This position will focus heavily on new aircraft development, with an emphasis in electronics, avionics, propulsion, flight characteristics, rugged design, and quality at scale.
  Test duties include system and sub-system level T&#38;E of hardware and software. As part of this process you will support or lead test planning, establish test measures of success, conduct test (ground and flight), analyze test performance, and produce high quality reports to inform future development.
 
 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
 
  A Master's degree in an applicable field of engineering and 8+ years' flight test experience.
  Experience as Lead Flight Test Engineer for complex or challenging flight test campaigns.
  Expertise and working knowledge of UAS operating rules and regulations in the UK.
  Experience in designing and executing rigorous test protocols for new and developmental systems and skillful in data analysis.
  Thorough understanding of COTS and bespoke UAS technologies. Expertise of internal combustion, electric and/or hybrid powertrains. Knowledge of flight control systems and flight dynamics of small, medium and/or large rotorcraft.
  Knowledge of EO/IR/Lidar sensor payloads and the intricacies required to plan and execute tests when deployed on maneuverable rotorcraft.
  An understanding of and passion for engineering quality concepts, principles, codes and experience demonstrating a broad application of those concepts.
  Quick learner with the capacity to accurately implement new concepts and effectively organize, schedule and manage multiple project phases.
  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities. Comfortable in a dynamic, team-oriented environment performing complex tasks in one or more engineering areas.
  Flexibility to work additional hours and travel for testing activities as required by the business.
  Valid driver's license
  Ability to immediately obtain and maintain a UK security clearance.

   As a UAS Flight Test Engineer you will plan, execute and report on developmental and operational flight TEst &#38; Evaluation (T&#38;E) activities.   As a Flight Test Engineer you will determine and develop various approaches to achieve T&#38;E goals and help guide and perform the completion of test activities.

  Test duties include system and sub-system level T&#38;E of hardware and software.   A Master's degree in an applicable field of engineering and 3+ years' flight test experience.

  Thorough understanding of COTS and bespoke UAS technologies. Expertise of internal combustion, electric and/or hybrid powertrains. Knowledge of flight control systems and flight dynamics of small, medium and/or large rotorcraft.
  Knowledge of EO/IR/Lidar sensor payloads and the intricacies required to plan and execute tests when deployed on maneuverable rotorcraft.

 Coastal Partners provides a Coastal Risk Management Service to five local authorities that reduces the risks to people, and the developed and natural environment, from flooding and coastal erosion. With several exciting large-scale civil engineering, environmental and research projects in our portfolio, we are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Research team.
 Working within the Research team, you will be a coastal scientist/senior coastal scientist, helping to protect communities, the environment and shape our coastal landscape for future generations. By using your scientific knowledge, you will develop solutions by working across a variety of projects, with the opportunity to be involved in different aspects of coastal research science, and GIS analysis. The successful candidate will ideally have experience or interest in the following areas:
  Project Management
 Working across the wider Coastal Partners project portfolio, this role requires undertaking technical project management for coastal process studies to inform option appraisals and scheme design. This involves working with in-house Coastal Partners staff or external suppliers. The role also includes project management of work packages for Beach Management Plan production and region-wide research projects, to better understand coastal processes through GIS analysis and modelling. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be good at report writing and presenting your results to a non-technical audience.
  Technical analysis and modelling skills
 Working in the Research team, you will assist our tracer study service, undertake GIS analysis of data such as aerial photography, lidar, topographic surveys, UAV data, bathymetry and habitat mapping. You will have a background in geomorphology and coastal processes and an understanding of hydrodynamics. Ideally you will have experience in sediment dynamics, overtopping of beaches and hard engineering structures; modelling, climate change, Beach Management Plan design and works; cliff erosion and landsliding. In terms of software, it will be advantageous if you have experience in ArcGIS, MIKE 21, Telemac, EUROTOP and Matlab.
 Your work will be diverse, working on the coastal process elements of our multi-million-pound engineering and habitat creation projects and smaller capital projects. You will work on and/or Project Manage our tracer studies, baseline coastal process understanding reports, numerical modelling, Beach Management Plan design/monitoring and habitat creation scheme design.
 You will require a degree or post-graduate degree in geography, oceanography, marine science, civil engineering, or closely related discipline. This is a career graded post with the opportunity to progress through career grades. The initial salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

  ABOUT THE ROLE
 Anduril's Deployment Operations group is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer to join our team. This is a UK based role. As a member of Anduril's Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting Anduril's products all over the world. You will go forward with products early on in their lifecycle and work with engineering teams to iteratively improve them over time. The challenges you will encounter are innumerable and unpredictable, but you will be expected to take ownership of delivering the technical solution.
   You must be both a teacher and a student, able to coach teammates on systems that you've gained intimate familiarity with and then transition into mastering the next system. You'll also guide users through product employment and troubleshooting, advise account managers on how to structure an operation to ensure technical success, and communicate specific recommendations for product refinement to engineering teams.
   Joining the Technical Operations team, you will be at the sharp end of deploying and supporting Anduril's cutting-edge Counter UAS systems. Collaborating closely with the Mission Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in the early stages of product life cycles, including live demonstrations, training, and customer deployments. As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for mastering, maintaining, and operating a comprehensive suite of sensors and effectors systems globally. A key part of your role will be leading cross-functional teams in challenging environments, often with limited support, to ensure mission success.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
  Network+ and Linux+ or equivalent experience preferred

We are looking for a Full-time, Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) candidate to join the SAIC Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Austin-Bergstrom International ATCT / TRACON (AUS) in Austin, TX, supporting air traffic controller training services for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Job Description:

The RPO plays the role of the pilot and other controllers in the Air Traffic Controller training simulator. The RPO operates a combination of a simulated radar display and voice communication system to simulate the actions and communication of pilots and remote ATC facilities during medium and high-fidelity training exercises. RPOs receive voice commands from students, input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions, translate displayed information into appropriate ATC terminology, and respond to the student via the VCS utilizing proper phraseology.

The candidate will be required to complete the following certifications: Classroom (pass test on airspace and procedures) and Lab (perform as a Remote Pilot Operator on all positions).

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.

To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. SAIC must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Candidates for this position must have a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and demonstrate basic computer proficiency. Candidates must possess an ability to read and interpret materials such as diagrams and manuals and have the ability to speak clearly and be understood

About this Role

The Lead Trainer is a highly skilled individual contributor responsible for delivering and upholding the highest standards of operational training for BRINC’s sUAS platforms and DFR (Drone as First Responder) ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary BRINC trainer for an assigned U.S. region, delivering high-quality instruction to public safety agencies
